TERRITORIAL MANAGER BIOMASS AND WASTE
CPM Europe (120 employees, Zaandam) is a leading provider of process and equipment solutions for the oilseed, animal feed, recycling and bioenergy markets. CPM Europe designs, manufactures and sells both systems and individual production units. The extensive range of machinery including milling, conditioning and densification systems are used for processing bulk materials in the biomass industry, the production of animal feed, waste recycling and energy generation - all global industries that are growing strongly.

CPM Europe is member of the CPM group, which are world leaders in pelleting, particle size reduction equipment and automation. The CPM group has over 1,250 employees with facilities in the Americas, Europe and Asia. For the expansion of our international Sales Team, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager.
As an experienced Area Sales Manager in the Biomass or waste segments, you are responsible for working with the CPM Americas/EMEA Sales team and other colleagues to define and champion commercial efforts for the CPM product lines in the market segments (biomass, waste) in the EMEA. The focus is to both affirm our market presence within the existing customer base and grow our business in the region. You are a sales professional with experience in advising and guiding sales strategy to deliver sales targets. You should be recognized as expert in the biomass or waste market and will work across the EMEA regions. This position plays a key role in the future direction of the organization and development of strategies in the biomass and waste industry.
Responsible for top line growth, with the focus on prospecting and establishing new sales in the waste or biomass industry
Manage strategic accounts including internal coordination ensuring alignment with customer, segment, partners, and global strategies
Provides intensive technical support to customers, including equipment sizing, system and process evaluation, design review, and ongoing product training
Identify and understand technical requirements of customers and connecting these with CPM’s products and solutions
Coordinate proposal development and technology offering with internal sales operations and technical teams
Key to this individual’s success is interaction with the team members, including but not limited to: Segment Manager, CPM Americas/EMEA sales, marketing and aftermarket teams, and other strategic business partners
Reports to management and colleagues about market developments and new possible opportunities in the industry
You have a bachelor’s degreein a technical field such as Process or Mechanical Engineering
It is a big plus if you are experienced in the fields of chemistry, oil and gas
You are an excellent communicator and business partner who can communicate on at all levels within the customers’ organization, including technical specialists, procurement officers and senior management
You are a self-starter, driven and results oriented sales professional with at least fifteen years relevant experience within the oilseed industry or in selling technical solutions
You enjoy the travelling part of this position and are prepared to travel extensively (50%)
Language skills: English and other Western European languages
