CPM Europe supplies process equipment for the animal feed, biomass, oilseed and waste processing industries, from design to production and everything in between. We do this together with our colleagues in the US and Asia. We have also developed collaborations with agents and mill builders all over the world. The Technical Services Department is made up of four disciplines; process engineering,  commissioning, service and technical support. Together with our colleagues, we organise the commissioning of new machines, answer first-line technical questions and maintain the installed machines.


As a Service Engineer you’ll be the specialist and CPM Europe’s calling card. You will mainly be traveling to customer locations within Europe. You will carry out service activities on the machines supplied by CPM, provide support and advise the customer in case of technical problems.
  • You will conduct maintenance activities on both new and existing installations and will make sure the installation effectively functions from a technical perspective.
  • You will conduct maintenance activities by partially or completely replacing parts.
  • You will consult with the customer and provide advice regarding the manner of repair or (preventative) maintenance; as well as instruct local operators / customers.
  • You will analyse technical problems using drawings and diagrams, establish a diagnosis and, in consultation with the team, introduce the necessary measures to resolve the disruptions.
  • You will register the completed activities in the service report / maintenance file.
  • 80% of the activities will be carried out abroad.


  • MTS (Senior Technical School) education, General Operational Technology direction, mechanical or naval engineering, supplemented with a course in control systems technology would be an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar position.
  • Good command of both the English and German language; knowledge of Dutch and French would be an advantage.
  • HSE foundation.
  • You are flexible, pragmatic, stress-resistant, capable of working independently and you have a major sense of responsibility, all characteristics which will allow you to successfully fulfil the position.
  • You have good communication skills and you respond to questions from customers in a friendly, adequate and correct manner.
