In order to meet the upcoming and new market demands, we are growing our Crown Europe organization.  This team is looking at expanding their international presence within the EMEA. For this reason, we are looking for a Sales & New Business Development Manager. This position will be based in CPM Europe’s head office in Zaandam, the Netherlands.

Your role
As Sales & Business Development Manager, you are responsible for defining and championing commercial efforts to expand the business for the complete Crown product line in the EMEA.  Besides affirming our market presence within our existing customer base, the primary focus is to grow our business in the region. You are a strong sales professional with experience in advising and guiding sales strategy to deliver sales target.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for top line growth, with the focus on prospecting and establishing new sales.
  • Develop and manage strategic account planning including internal coordination ensuring alignment with customer, segment, and global strategies.
  • Identify and understand technical requirements of customers and connecting these with Crown’s products and solutions.
  • Coordinate proposal development and technology offering with internal sales operations and technical teams.
Skills
  • You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field such as Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA.
  • You are an excellent communicator and business partner who can communicate on at all levels within the customers’ organization, including technical specialists, procurement officers and senior management.
  • You have at least five years’ relevant experience within the oil processing and solvent extraction industry or selling technical solutions.
  • You are a self-starter, driven and results oriented sales professional with a proven track record in consultative selling.
  • You enjoy the travelling part of this position and are prepared to travel extensively (50%).
  • Language skill: English, and preferably French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic.
