AREA SALES MANAGER (10 Years’ experience)
CPM Europe (120 employees, Zaandam) is a leading provider of process and equipment solutions for the oilseed, animal feed, recycling and bioenergy markets. CPM designs, manufactures and sells both systems and individual production units. The extensive range of machinery including milling systems, conditioning systems and densification systems are used for processing bulk materials in the biomass industry, the production of animal feed, waste recycling and energy generation - all global industries that are growing strongly.

To facilitate further growth and development of CPM’s automation activities, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager (10 years Experience)
As an experienced Area Sales Manager in the Biomass segments, you are responsible for working with the CPM Americas/EMEA Sales team and other colleagues to define and champion commercial efforts for the CPM product lines in the Biomass market segments in the South East Asian region. The focus is to both affirm our market presence within the existing customer base and grow our business in the region. You are a sales professional with experience in advising and guiding sales strategy to deliver sales targets. You should be recognized as expert in the biomass market and will work across the Southeast Asia region. This position plays a key role in the future direction of the organization and development of strategies in the biomass pelleting industry.
Responsible for top line growth, with the focus on prospecting and establishing new sales in the biomass industry.
Manage strategic accounts including internal coordination ensuring alignment with customer, segment, partners, and global strategies.
Provides extensive technical support to customers, including equipment sizing, system and process evaluation, design review, and ongoing product training.
Identify and understand technical requirements of customers and connecting these with CPM’s products and solutions.
Coordinate proposal development and technology offering with internal sales operations and technical teams.
Key to this individual’s success is interaction with the team members, including but not limited to: Segment Manager, CPM Americas/EMEA sales, marketing and aftermarket teams, and other strategic business partners.
Reports to management and colleagues about market developments and new possible opportunities in the industry.
You have a bachelor’s degreein a technical field such as Process or Mechanical Engineering.
You are an excellent communicator and business partner who can communicate on at all levels within the customers’ organization, including technical specialists, procurement officers and senior management.
You are a self-starter, driven and results oriented sales professional with at least ten years relevant experience within the biomass wood or saw milling industry.
You enjoy the travelling part of this position and are prepared to travel extensively (50% plus).
Language skills: English.
